I have over 18 years experience in designing and building for the world wide web, I am currently working in London as a Senior Interaction Designer at the Ministry of Justice.
Current role responsibilities include:
Understand user needs and how to design services that meet them
Design seamless user journeys that span multiple transactions
Create and iterate prototypes to test and communicate ideas
Work with user researchers and front-end developers to turn concepts into user-centred services
Identify and design scalable, cross-government design patterns and standards
Lead discussions at a departmental level and successfully negotiate for usability improvements to services
Ensure that the design of services is consistent, both internally and with the rest of GOV.UK
Contribute to cross-government interaction design patterns and standards
Contribute to the wider community of designers in government
Be the authority on interaction design for a service
