A microsite needed to be created on the Radio 1 website for the Live Lounge Tour. The challenge was that we were not allowed to use existing Live Lounge graphics due to legal rights, so this was an opportunity for me to create new branding.
I started to create moodboards capturing the essence of the Live Lounge Tour as a brand which I played back to the design and editorial teams. Once we were happy with a look and feel. I took my camera to the Radio 1 studio and started to photograph what I could see. I then used these photos to create graphics from them - like a kit of parts that could be used across the website.
Working with an information architect we created a site map and some wireframes. I presented these back to the design and editorial team then applied the branding to the visual design and handed these over to the developers.
