What I did...

When I joined the Weather team, we relied heavily on working in agile to deliver the project on time. I took part in daily stand ups, communicating progress in the design work to the team. Product planning meetings was where I would gather backlog design tasks and prioritise these with the project manager. Upon completing a design I would present these to the team during bi-weekly sprint demos.

Working in collaboration with the lead designer, I rolled out new components across the site, whilst making amends and to previous designs, based on tech feedback. I oversaw the tender process with external UX&D commission put out to a third party supplier and monitored the quality of the work completed e.g. ambience backgrounds with Kent Lyons.

As the launch was approaching, testing designs for usability and accessibility was key. I took part in overseeing the selection process of a user research supplier, rating the proposals that were sent in to us. I was later a note taker at the testing facilities with What People Want and fed this back to the team.
